Paddlers Paradise 16.1 Billion Gallons

The canoes are all loaded up and the vans make their way the short drive to unload and set off on a new adventure at Mansfield Hollow. No two trips out on the lake could be alike. Each day there is always the question, what will we see? What experience will be new? Who will get wet?

So what do you know about the lake and the park that surrounds it? You can find out more at:

High water below the dam

There was a nice article about the park in the Hartford Courant telling how it has something for each member of the family. Read more at:

16.1 billion gallons, that is the volume of water stored at flood stage in the lake at Mansfield Hollow  a paddlers paradise for the Campers at Holiday Hill Day Camp.  http://www.holidayrecreation.com/

The water can get really high when the dam is doing the job of protecting the towns down stream.

Come to Holiday Hill Day Camp 2011 and dip your paddle in paradise!
